Joel Shapira Trio
Guitarist Joel Shapira is an internationally acclaimed musician residing in St. Paul. Joel is a member of multiple top Twin Cities’ jazz ensembles as well as a master of the demanding. Joel performs regularly with world class musicians, has numerous recordings to his credit and is an artist featured on the NYC record label, Unseen Rain Records.
Benny Weinbeck Duo
Since the 1980s, Benny Weinbeck has been performing in venues around the world. He has several albums of original compositions and one of solo piano jazz standards. He has also appeared on Gordon Johnson’s album, “Trios V1. and V3”. (with Steve Gadd on drums) and many others.
Chris is an award-winning jazz pianist and composer who has been active in the Twin Cities jazz scene for more than 30 years. As leader of the Chris Lomheim Trio, he has produced three CDs.
Omar Abdulkarim started playing trumpet at 14 months. Since then, he’s shared the stage with Roy Hargrove, Redman, Method Man, KRS-ONE, and Talib Kweli, to mention a few. His influences include Fats Navarro, Miles Davis, and Freddie Hubbard. After completing his degree at New York City’s legendary New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music, Omar moved back to Minnesota. He is currently composing new work for his upcoming album.

Zacc Harris Trio
Since moving to Minneapolis in 2005, Zacc Harris has gained a reputation as one of the area’s top guitarists, being named 2017 Twin Cities Best Jazz Artist by the City Pages. He performs in a host of creative projects including Atlantis Quartet, winner of the 2015 McKnight Fellowship and named 2011 Best Jazz Artist, as well as the Zacc Harris Group, American Reverie, and Zacc Harris Trio.
Mary Louise Knutson
Pianist Mary Louise Knutson tours regularly with trumpeter Doc Severinsen, former bandleader for the Tonight Show starring Johnny Carson. Her warm, inviting tone, broad range of emotional expression, and distinctive compositions have brought her much recognition on the national music scene.
